Alaa Mortada

Alaa Mortada; graduated from Fine Arts school in Damascus. She started working with children through her project to teach languages by incorporating drawings and children’s tales and that ignited her passion to enter the magic world of children that is full of dreams and excitement. In addition, she worked in Ajami Damascene rooms conservation and also worked with UNHCR to help develop underprivileged women and children. These experiences motivated her to preserve our cultural heritage for new generations through interesting children’s books.
