Collection: Tariq al Murri

Architect, Tariq al Murri; holder of a BSc. in architectural engineering, Ain Shams University; and MSc. of Conservation of Monuments and Sites, KU Leuven, Belgium. He is a monumental buildings restoration consultant; and an Arab region UNESCO expert. He has a number of publications on historical Cairo heritage and history. Al Murri contributed to several projects on conservation and upgrading the architectural fabric of historical Cairo. He also developed and translated a number of charters and decisions in this regard. Al Murri is an active member in the Society of Egyptian Architects (SEA1917), the heritage and cultural identity work program of the International Union of Architects (UIA) and International Council on Monuments and Sites (ICOMOS).
